English Classes

English classes are generally held in the morning with the internship experience in the afternoon. Although internship schedules vary depending on host, participants typically engage in internship activities from 2 to 5 days a week. Students are offered weekly reviews by their school in which they discuss their experience and language learning.


Participants improve their English skills by attending the following schools:

San Francisco: St Giles International
St Giles is located in the center of San Francisco near Union Square. There is a caf and Internet access on campus. In addition, students are offered various activities, such as movie night, to encourage interaction among students.

Internship & English program participants at St Giles International take the General English course. Total class hours are approximately 18 hours per week.

San Diego: International House
This school is a member of the global network of International House schools and is located in central San Diego with easy access to public transportation. There is a multimedia center, library, and lounge area for students.

Internship & English program participants at International House take the General Intensive English course. Total class hours are approximately 15 hours per week.

F-Visa (Student Visa):
For those who participate in the program for 3 months or longer, English schools can issue an I-20 form to obtain an F-Visa (Student Visa).
